HurricaneLaw.Pro ("we," "us") is an independent informational resource for property-insurance policyholders in Florida and South Carolina. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and the free case review form.
1. Information we collect
We collect only what you give us. When you submit the free case review, that includes:
- Contact information: your name, phone number, and email address.
- Claim details: your property state, insurance carrier, date of loss, the status of your claim, and your description of what happened.
- Uploaded documents: files you choose to attach, such as your denial letter, policy, adjuster estimate, or damage photos.
- A source tag: which page you submitted from, used to understand how the resource is used.
We do not ask for financial-account numbers, Social Security numbers, or payment information through this site, and you should not include them. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) may be recorded by our hosting provider for security and reliability.
2. How we use your information
We use the information you submit to:
- Review your claim and respond to your case-review request;
- Contact you about your claim by phone, text, or email, as you authorize on the form;
- Forward your submission to our law firm partner, Halversen Law so an attorney can evaluate it;
- Maintain the security and reliability of the site.
We do not use your claim details for advertising or profiling.
3. We do not sell your information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with our law firm partner, Halversen Law for the purpose of reviewing your claim, and with service providers (such as hosting and file-storage vendors) that process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect legal rights.
4. Attorney-client relationship
Submitting the form does not create an attorney-client relationship. Do not send privileged or highly sensitive information until such a relationship is established in writing. See our Disclaimer for details.
5. Document uploads
Files you upload are transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored to allow review of your claim. Upload only documents relevant to your claim. If you would rather not upload files, you can call or text us instead.
6. Data retention and deletion
We keep case-review submissions only as long as needed to respond to your request and for ordinary record-keeping. You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing privacy@hurricanelaw.pro or by calling 941-390-3233. We will delete it unless we are required to retain it by law.
7. Cookies and analytics
The site uses minimal cookies and may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
8. Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
9. Your choices
